Baan Dek Foundation is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious, organization based in Chiang Mai that supports over 1000 children in need and their families living in construction sites and slums. Through specifically tailored educational programs and flexible individual support, Baan Dek protects endangered children, allows families to becoming self-sustainable and gives opportunities for a better future.
By the end of this year, we plan to open a branch of Baan Dek Foundation in Bangkok where we hope to expand our current services to support the most vulnerable children.

Responsibilities of the advertised position:
Baan Dek Foundation is currently looking for a professional and dedicated local Social Program Coordinator who will commit to supporting vulnerable children and communities living in Bangkok. The S**ocial Program Coordinator will work under direct supervision of the Director of Programs in Chiang Mai.**
The main mission of the Social Program Coordinator will be to coordinate Baan Dek Foundation's team of Social Workers to help vulnerable children and their families solve social and economic issues in their daily lives, allowing families to reach sustainability and ensuring children’s access to Education, Health and Safety.
Role and responsibilities include - but are not restricted to:
Under the supervision of the Director of Programs and the Management team, support and supervise Baan Dek Foundation’s Social Workers in the coordination and the implementation of field activities in Bangkok. This includes support recruiting and supervising expatriate staff.
Support the Management Team in the design, implementation, evaluation, development, and achievement of the objectives of Baan Dek Foundation’s programs.
Developing and implementing the overall monitoring system for activities in Bangkok as well as creating and developing appropriate tools to address the needs of the communities.
Coordinate individual case management program including counseling and follow up for the children and their families, as well as implementation of social work activities;
The social Program Coordinator will engage the team to ensure high-quality social work that aligns with the needs of the targeted population.
Identify and develop partnerships with relevant local partners (private and public institutions such as local schools, medical centers, social services, etc.)
Support in organizing efficient monitoring and evaluation tools and prepare the reporting and communication. to partners
Support the monitoring and reporting system for all programs and report to supervisors, donors, or other external entities. Contribute within the Management team to the general strategy and vision of the Foundation.
Develop end enforce Baan Dek Foundation’s Child Protection Policy among the team and throughout all programs.
Required skills:
Nationality: Thai or South East Asia nationals
Qualifications:
· Degree or experience in relevant field (social work, special education, health, psychology,...)
· Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination / social work / educational activity coordination / early childhood development
· Former professional experience working with children, mother and baby / toddler considered as an asset.
· Language skills:Fluent Thai (spoken and written) and English proficient speaking and writing skills. Burmese,Thai-Yaiand / or Khmer (spoken and written) considered asimportantassets.
· *Other skills/interests:** committed to social work/child welfare, dedication for non-profit work, communication and human relations skills, teamwork ability, flexibility on working hours, tolerance & human values, highly motivated, positive energy & spirit, ability to work autonomously, ability to understand family situations and conduct assessments.
Working hours: Full time - Monday to Friday (flexible schedule) and occasionally on weekend & evenings
Salary: Starting at 35,000 THB (To be defined based on experience and qualifications. Complementary advantages provided (transportation & phone allowance, etc.)
